Sanoma Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge is Tjuvholmen’s newest Social Dining gem, housing an intimate cocktail bar, spacious dining room and a lush terrace. We offer tasteful culinary experiences, where Nordic produce meets the delicious Korean kitchen. The menu ranges from tasty snacks to filling main courses – all perfect for sharing, and served in a social and urban setting.
Our vision is to use high quality ingredients to ensure the same, excellent taste in every meal. We strive to use as much local produce as possible, as we believe it tastes better and contributes to a more sustainable restaurant culture.

By combining Nordic produce with Korean tastes and cooking traditions, we offer you a unique and composed menu, served in urban and comtemporary sorroundings.

At Sanoma, we strive to offer culinary experiences beyond the ordinary, for the hungry as well as the festive. 

To me, ‘cuisine’ (cooking) is like a story, where the produce is the main character. Therefore, I only work with suppliers who meet our demands regarding quality and sustainability. 

The chefs are the necessary link between soil and table. And along with the waiters, we have an important task in showcasing values that I believe makes a restaurant great; such as tolerance, flexibility and generosity.
